Final Year Projects
I’m a 2nd year design student here at the UCR. I have been in graphic design for around 10 years and I am hoping that the addition of a degree to my repertoire will allow me to achieve my goals.
Previous Works Of Note
I have worked with Human Studios to design and produce an economically sustainable packaging system. I also produced an illustrated book of poetry in association with Grimm & Co. Rotherham and the Astrea Academy, Sheffield.
I have also worked with The DesignFix to produce a series of illustrated posters for their ‘Post Without Prejudice’ campaign.
Other Works
I have spent a lot of time designing logos for various business owners, along with my own personal favourite past time of designing typefaces. My first typeface (titled ‘Kelham’) was designed for my 2nd year specialist creative response university project. I am currently working on a more specialised and geometric typeface.
I look forward to using my skills within a typographic arena, designing an entire font family is something that I would very much love to do.
Amongst some of my favourite work are the logos that I have designed. The process of idea generation and viewing the progression from sketches on paper to having a fully designed and actualised logo is a great feeling. Illustration has also been an area of great interest for me over the last year, developing flat, on paper illustrations into 3D objects is thought provoking and engaging for the viewer.
