SYDCAE (Dementia is) Brief:
South Yorkshire Dementia Creative Arts Exhibition is an annual exhibition to help stimulate discussion about dementia. The project aim was to design posters to invite people to the 2019 exhibition and the spoken word event. Design postcards for both events so people could leave feedback about the event. To unite and help people understand what dementia is.
As the event is an art exhibition, my designs were influenced by artistic techniques which I then manipulated. The design for each letter was different but still worked collectively, which was reflection of how the journey of each dementia patient is different and dementia doesn’t always have to be seen in a negative light.

Specialist creative response (GOL) Brief:
As part of our final project we produced a piece of work in an area of our interest. As a fashion lover with a relative understanding of sustainability, my project is based on the RSA design brief Make Fashion Circular, which I adapted to align more with graphic design. I rebranded the fashion industry to make consumers more aware of how and where their products are being produced and sourced.
In response to the brief I designed a fully functioning brand and website GOL, with the aim to influence business and consumers of the fashion industry to become more aware of their practices

Grimm & Co - Astraea academy poem Book:
Grimm & Co worked with year 7 students from Astrea in Sheffield to write poetry about subjects they enjoyed. They wanted to present the children’s work in a book format to showcase the children’s creativity and encourage their imaginations.
Influenced by paper art, my designs consist of layering and shadowing of different elements spoken about in the poems. The poems were best described visually when more than one element was combined to create a surreal illustration of what the poem says.

Grimm & Co E-invite Brief:
For an upcoming event Grimm & Co wanted a digital invitation design that could be used to promote and encourage people to attend.
As the event was to be held at Grimm & Co’s new building, I used the architecture of the new building as the forefront of my design brought together with a fun colour palette and bold typography.
