Graduation Project
My focus and theme for the graduation project was sustainability in animal agriculture and how people can reduce meat intake to reduce their individual carbon footprint. After researching many articles and studies, I decided to design an app allowing users to keep track of their meat intake and how they can reduce their carbon footprint, helping them to contribute to the fight against the current climate crisis.
The app includes a meat tracker that will help users to monitor their monthly meat intake with relevant facts allowing users to think more carefully about their eating habits. Alongside this is a monthly review that shows users how much reduction of carbon has been achieved. There are also a variety of meat-free recipes that users can follow with easy to follow methods for creating the meals. Each recipe shows the levels of carbon intake and compares it with meat and meatless meals, allowing the user to re-think about their food choices.
To accompany the app, I designed a food subscription box. The box includes all the ingredients to all recipes but also directs the user to the app enabling them to track their subscription meals alongside their carbon footprint. Lastly, I created a website, which shows the whole process of this product, how it works and how the user can purchase the subscription box.

Grimm and Co.
For this project I was asked to create a wrapping paper design for their shop in Rotherham. Taking inspiration from the many items and ephemera in the Grimm and Co workshop, I illustrated various elements such as potions, candles and broomsticks creating a surface design repeat pattern that will be produced on a wrapping paper.
Packaging brief
For this side-brief we were ask to create a sustainable subscription box. I decided to focus on my grad project theme which was to get people to reduce their meat intake and carbon footprint. For this brief, I decided to have variety of choices including a savoury, sweet and a spice box with recipes that are enjoyable to eat but also are helping the planet.
RSA brief
For my last side-brief I decided to do a RSA brief, this was because it had links to my graduation project theme. This brief asked the designer to create an illustration or an animation showing how people make connections through food as much off our food-focus is mainly on social media. How can we get people to connect through food and bring people together?
I decided to focus the project on religious celebrations and how these traditional celebrations bring families and friends together with traditional eating habits and good food.
